PRweb.com

PRweb.com is a website used by nearly 40,000 companies to issue press releases. It helps companies get their name out there, so to speak, by getting the company's Web sites achieve higher search engine rankings. PRweb.com also sends the company's news to top journalists in their area. PRweb.com charges a fee from $80.00 to $360.00 to create an account with them. Online press releases are becoming very popular with the internet boom and it looks as though PRweb.com has all the tools to get a company's name out there.

Online-pr.com is a website that is dedicated to helping with faster communications around the country and the globe. The site primarily consists of Web links to other PR sites. These sites have three main categories: media, references and PR resources. The media blog consists mainly of media websites around the globe. It ranges from the middle east to back here in the United States. Industry links take you to your specific industry's website (ie if you want information on lawyers you click industry then lawyer). PR sources are websites that direct you to a countries main Public Relations source (www.spri.ch = Swiss Public Relations Institute).

101publicrelations.com is a website that gives its customers information on how to get free publicity. Industries who need to get their name out or their product's name out may use this Web site as a tool to enhance its public image and enhance its products publicity. 101publicrelations uses different topic areas to help with finding public relations information. It gives you step by step guides into making things like press kits and press releases. It also helps their customers with business blogging, how to pitch stories, crisis communication and even talk shows.

This website is run by Council of Public Relations Firms. It is mainly about PR firms, where they are located, contact information, and so much more. The main page is its headquarters and you can find events and articles. The one great thing about this site is the pr firm locater. You can search for a firm on the location, size, industry, or service. Once you narrow down the results a list of pr firms will be listed. You may then select a firm that sounds interesting to your taste, each name does include a little about the company. Once you selected a firm a small box will appear with all the information needed. If you feel you would like to know more you can then proceed to their website. You can also search jobs on what field or specialization you would like to enter into.

The name of the Web site sums it up pretty much; it is a site all about public relations. There are areas where you can promote yourself or the company you work for. There are also articles posted and people may post their own articles as well. At the bottom of the website there are the essentials of pr. These include an article archive, a pr toolbox, and a pr reference library. All of these will go to other links so there is more than one choice. This site sponsors a lot of other sites and it gives for better results. It seems to be a lot like a huge search engine for pr. Some other subjects that this site supports are jobs, career guides, and internship. This website can be very helpful, but also very confusing with so many choices.

This site is mainly about fashion public relations. It does go into detail about exactly what fashion pr is. The site also lists other links for more information. The expertise and exact services are also listed on the site to get more of an idea of what fashion pr is. The website gives contact information for those with more questions. The site also features a blog wrote by some of the team members working for fashion pr. The site is run by Pierce Mattie Public Relations. I think this site is a good start to learning a little bit more about fashion pr.

A news site for the public relations and marketing industries. It has current news stories and commentary, and the site refreshes itself every few minutes. The site also provides a job search tool, a database of PR firms and their rankings.

A site including information on recent PR news, awards, research updates and conferences. The basic idea of the website is to keep professionals in the field updated on new research and developments. It also has information on courses and forums one can attend.
